Abraham: SATAN AND SANTA – Esther & Jerry Hicks
I figured this would be a good way to bring in the holidays…
My way of sharing the love, the joy, the true spirit of Christmas. Consider this my Christmas card to all of you and have a Merry Christmas!
During a Law of Attraction workshop, Abraham – translated by Esther Hicks – responded to a father who was uncertain about how he should answer his daughter’s question – “Daddy, is there a Devil?”. In doing so, Abraham draws a surprising parallel between Satan and another bigger-than-life childhood figure, Santa Claus.

For nearly 25 years Esther & Jerry Hicks have produced books, audio recordings and videos based on the Teachings of Abraham, and their latest book, entitled “The Vortex”, is currently on the New York Times bestseller list.
Esther explains that when she speaks for Abraham, she is interpreting blocks of thought from Non-Physical Source Energy – which she also sometimes identifies as her “Soul”. Esther doesn’t use the word “channeling” to describe her process, since she is not in a trance and is not hearing a voice in her head. Rather, she has trained herself to verbally interpret the same unerring Inner Guidance that is available to all of us.

I found this to be very interesting. I remember reading about Esther & Jerry Hicks deciding not to go along with the film before it was released. I believe they had some disagreement with the publication? Anyway, I thought it was sad they were not in the film. I am so fond of the Hicks and Abraham, it is good to finally see what I missed.

I had just finished The Secret of Deliberate Creation just days before beginning this program, and I find they blend very well together…
The Secret of Deliberate Creation not only explains the Law of Attraction, but Dr. Anthony actually tells you how to apply it in life! He has so many wonderful tactics he teaches you to use, and they REALLY work! Dr. Anthony keeps you focused by giving you clear, precise instructions while making sense of it all, which makes it so easy for you to follow along.
With Rich Mind Life Strategy he motivates you into taking steps towards reaching your goals. With all his knowledge of Nlp. Eft, quantum physics, etc. I thought it would be difficult for me to learn. I am an artist, so science was not an easy subject for me…however, this is very easy. He really makes perfect sense of everything!
In my oppinion, The Secret introduced us to the Law of Attraction, then left us hanging. It did not tell us how to apply it. Then my other favorite book, A New Earth, opened us up to our spiritual side and finding your purpose, but was a little confusing about how to obtain your goals. Even with the online classes given by Eckhart Tolle and Oprah, I did not feel this part of the course was explained very well. Everything else was highly enlightening! The question was even repeated a couple of times during this class because most of us were not understanding this one particular dialogue.
Dr. Anthony explains it all perfectly, and now I finally get it! For example, in reaching your goals, you only need to begin. When do you do that? Now, of course, the only moment there ever is! So reaching your goals is simply a series of getting started. You start one day, then start again the next day, and so on until you have achieved whatever you set out to do. You don’t focus on the end, getting started is always the hardest part, so he teaches you how to get started as well.
