It’s about time… it’s about space… our about page is now in place!
Did you ever have one of those nights when you drank too much wine? I know I’m not the only one who has done this, but most cases we wake up to find a stranger or an ex in our bed or maybe even worse. We may spend hours trying to figure out how this happened or maybe just laugh it off as Oops… I did it again! However, in my case I woke up to find I had a blog!
At the time, I really didn’t even know what a blog was. How did this happen? It was kinda funny and once I settled into the idea I thought it was cool. I enjoy writing and decided I liked having my own blog. Only… now what? Thankfully it was completely up and running. I had the domain name and everything. I remember thinking this must be an act of God. How else could I explain it? I knew nothing about blogging nor any technical skills that would be needed to pull this off! If this were an act of God, then obviously it should be used to help others. Little did I know in the long run it would help me even more! It became my journal of sorts. I found that by writing down my thoughts I was increasing my awareness of what I had learned. It’s much easier for me to absorb knowledge when I am trying to explain it to someone else. That’s when I get it!
I also had a passion for personal growth. I was out of work and had way too much time on my hands and usually spent much of it reading self improvement books and then began investing in self help programs. I was very into learning everything I could to grow and become more successful than I already was. Soon after I was devoted to connecting to my spiritual side and finding my lifes purpose. I began meditating, doing yoga, taking nature walks, etc. Whatever I could to find the peace & happiness I truly felt I deserved.
I wanted to write honest reviews about the programs I used and share whatever knowledge I had on those subjects. Even though I was convinced no one else was actually reading my blog, I felt comforted by sharing all this info! Like I mentined earlier, it helped me understand more by explaining it to you. I would also like to point out that I am no expert on these subjects. I’m just an average girl sharing my experiences with the world. Crazy, but it’s true!
So I guess this blog is what it is… Pam’s Personal Growth Review! Can’t believe it took me 4 years to figure that out? This blog is my way of helping others dicover thier passion and most of all to know that’s it’s okay if you still don’t know what that is. You’ll figure it out as long as you stay focused on finding it… It may just find you!
